First Round of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage [Live]

The first round of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage has started. According to the results of the first two matches of the championship, the Vitality and teams got victories over Complexity and respectively.

The championship was opened by a meeting between Team Vitality and Complexity. However, the Inferno map became fatal for the North American team, which took only one round in total in two halves. As a result, Team Vitality scored a crushing victory with a score of 16:1 and made it to the basket of winners. At the same time, the Bad News Eagles fought hard against Eternal Fire with a score of 16:14. At the same time, the Kosovar team showed a varied attack on Dust 2, thus managing to break their opponent.

In the next portion of matches, the G2 Esports team managed to defeat Team Liquid with a score of 16:6. At the same time, the Inferno map was initially formed not in favor of the North American team, which risked repeating the fate of its counterparts in the region. However, in the second half, Team Liquid managed to slightly reduce the gap, which still did not save the team from defeat. In the parallel match, the forZe team proved to be stronger than the Australians from Renegades on the Nuke map with a score of 16:9, realizing the advantage earned in the first half.

At the equator of the first round of the championship, the Danish team Astralis outplayed the major debutants from IHC Esports with a score of 16:2, showing two exemplary halves on the Nuke map. At the same time, Team Spirit defeated the Brazilian team Imperial Esports with a score of 16:6, demonstrating confident CS on the Dust 2 map.

The first round of the competition was closed by the meeting between MIBR and Outsiders. However, after a relatively equal first half on the Dust 2 map, the team from the CIS managed to keep the advantage they had earned in order to beat their counterparts from Brazil with a score of 16:14 and get into the winners' basket.In a parallel confrontation, the ENCE team outplayed 9z with a score of 16:7 without a chance, showing an exemplary attack on the Mirage map.
