The duel between Evil Geniuses and 9z ended, as a result of which the North American team lost to their Latin American colleagues with a score of 1:2 and left the PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR. In turn, 9z made it to the final confrontation of the championship, where they will meet with paiN Gaming and play the last slot at PGL Major Antwerp 2022 from the American RMR tournament.

The match for the 8th place started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the Latin American team. At the same time, 9z quickly seized the initiative on the server, showing two confident halves, followed by a comfortable victory at their own pick — 16:11. Then the teams moved to the Inferno map, where Evil Geniuses, having failed to realize themselves in the attack, showed an exemplary half in defense. Everything was decided on the Overpass map, where 9z, having lost the starting segment, managed to return to the game, and then create a real sensation by closing a more eminent opponent - 16:14.
