Tournament operator PGL has presented the schedule of the first round of PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR A. Two favorites will open the championship: while NaVi will test the strength of the Far Eastern team QUAZAR, FaZe Clan will face Eternal Fire.

  • FaZe Clan - Eternal Fire.
  • Outsiders - Team Unique.
  • Heroic - forZe.
  • Team Vitality - Dignitas.
  • MOUZ - OG.
  • BIG - SAW.
  • Gamer Legion - fnatic.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR A will be held according to the Swiss system, in which all matches, except for the decisive ones, will be held in the BO1 format. At the same time, the meetings that decide the tournament fate of the teams will be held in the BO3 format. It is expected that the Buchholz system, which has already been used at PGL Major Stockholm 2021, will be used for the draw.

Teams that take places from 1st to 4th will receive Legend status. The teams ranked 5th and 6th will receive the Challenger status. At the same time, the teams that take 7th and 8th places will receive the status of Contender. The remaining teams will miss PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

Recall that PGL has made changes to the format of the event. In light of the latest changes, the organizers have added an additional match between the two teams that finished second with a 3-1 result.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR A will take place from 17 to 20 April in Romania. Sixteen teams from Europe and the CIS will compete for a prize pool of $95,000, as well as eight tickets to PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
