The composition of the playoffs of the ESL Challenger League Season 40: Asia-Pacific has been determined

The group stage of ESL Challenger League Season 40: Asia-Pacific has ended, following which eight teams advanced to the championship playoffs. It is these participants who will compete for the main prize - a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 16. We offer you to get acquainted with the results in each group and find out the fate of the eliminated teams.

Group A

The sole leader of group A was the TYLOO team, which got all seven victories without losing a single map. Team NKT was next, losing only to the leader of their group. The third place is occupied by the Chinese from the CatEvil team, who lost only to TYLOO and Team NKT. The last participant of the playoffs of ESL Challenger League Season 40: Asia-Pacific from group A was the Moon Esports team, which finished the group stage with a score of 4-3.

Group B

The champion of the second group was the team Rare Atom, which completed the group stage without a single defeat, throwing off only one map. On the second line is the Mongolian team IHC Esports, which lost only to the leader of its group. The MongolZ team was next, finishing the group stage with a 4-3 result. The last participant in the playoffs from group B was the Chinese team NSN Gaming, which got four wins and suffered three losses.

  • 13th-14th place: CyberX Khabarovsk and GR Gaming - relegated to S40 Relegation.
  • 15th-16th place: Redemptions and Do Not Disturb La - relegated to S41 Open.

ESL Challenger League Season 40: Asia-Pacific runs from February 8 to April 3 online. 16 teams from Asia are fighting for a prize pool of $20,000, as well as a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, which will go to the winner.
