Another game day of Funspark ULTI 2021 Finals has ended, following which Gambit and BIG reached the final of the upper bracket of the championship. In two semi-final matches, the teams were stronger than Entropiq (2:1) and K23 (2:1), respectively. Now Gambit and BIG will meet each other to compete for a ticket to the Funspark ULTI 2021 Finals grand final.

Gambit-Entropiq

The first CIS derby of the season started on the Dust 2 map. However, Gambit quickly seized the advantage, destroying the opponent's defense almost without a chance. After switching sides, sh1ro and the company continued to torment Entropiq without losing a single round on defense — 16:5.

The teams then moved on to the Mirage map, which became Entropiq's choice. Already in the first half, the hosts managed to get a comfortable advantage, showing a confident game in defense. After the side switch, Gambit managed to close the gap, but the match itself was still controlled by Entropiq players. As a result, El1an and the company managed to keep the lead on the map, and at the same time equalize the score in the series — 16:14.

Everything was decided on the Overpass map, where Gambit immediately began to correct the situation. As a result, already after the first half, the team decided the outcome of the meeting, having easily coped with the opponent's attack. After switching sides, Entropiq tried to fight, but in vain. The final score of 16:6 perfectly reflects the superiority of Gambit on the decisive map.

K23-BIG

The second semi-final of the game day also started on the Dust 2 map. Here the German team quickly seized the initiative, showing a convincing game in attack. After the side switch, BIG continued to stick to its line, taking a very quick lead — 16:6.

Then the teams switched to the Mirage map, which became the choice of K23. The hosts, having lost the first half with a score of 6:9, quickly began to correct the situation, easily catching up with the opponent. At the same time, K23 managed to stump the opponent, showing a confident defense of one of the bombsites over and over again. As a result, n0rb3r7 and the company managed to finish their own peak and equalized the score in the series — 16:12.

Everything was decided on the map Overpass, where BIG managed to show an impressive start. After a terrible half in attack, K23 failed to return to the game, finally predetermining the fate of the meeting. As a result, BIG confidently dealt with their opponent and reached the final of the upper bracket of Funspark ULTI 2021 Finals — 16:4.
