FTW wins NumberOne Season 2: Finals

The end of NumberOne Season 2: Finals has come to an end. At the championship, which took place online from January 7-9, eight European teams competed for a prize pool of € 20,000. The winner of the championship was the FTW team, which in the grand final was stronger than Ambush Esport with a score of 2: 0 (Nuke - 16: 7; Inferno - 16:11).

The tournament for the future winner started with a difficult group stage. If in the first round the team outplayed Infinite Gaming with a score of 16: 8, then in the match for reaching the playoffs, the Portuguese devastatingly lost to Ambush Esport with a score of 1:16. Nevertheless, in the decisive match, FTW managed to beat Exalty with a score of 2: 0, thus making it to the semifinals of the championship.

Here the team has seriously changed. Already in the 1/2 finals, FTW won a strong-willed victory over compatriots from eXploit Esports with a score of 2: 1. In the grand final, the Portuguese easily took revenge on Ambush Esport, thereby securing their first victory in the new season.
