K23 wins Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Playoffs 2

Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Playoffs 2 has come to an end. The championship, which was held online from December 13 to 19, the eight best teams from the Funspark ULTI series competed for a prize pool of $ 50,000, as well as points required to qualify for Funspark ULTI 2021 The winner of the tournament was the K23 team, which beat BLUEJAYS in the grand final with a score of 2: 0 (Overpass - 16:14, Inferno - 16: 8).

The tournament for the future winner began with two tough victories over Entropiq (2: 1) and Copenhagen Flames (2: 0). At the same time, already in the final of the upper bracket, the team from the CIS had to show character in order to defeat Dignitas (2: 1) and go to the grand final, having received additional time for rest. In the main match of the championship, K23 was in the role of catch-up for a long time, as it showed a weak attack at its own peak. However, after the changeover, the team made a comeback, and at the same time confidently dealt with their opponent on Inferno, gaining another victory.

Note that by the end of the season, K23 and ECSTATIC got to Funspark ULTI 2021. BIG and Extra Salt will also take part in the championship, which will be held next spring in China.
