The NIP team beat GODSENT with a score of 2: 1 and reached the semifinals of IEM Winter 2021. Now the Swedish team will play against G2. In turn, GODSENT leaves IEM Winter 2021, earning $ 10,000.

The first quarterfinal of IEM Winter 2021 started on Nuke map, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. However, the Swedes from NIP showed too strong play in defense, giving the “hosts” only four rounds. At the start of the second half, it seemed that GODSENT would be able to return to the game. However, the NIP had other plans in this regard, as the team leveled the economy, and at the same time took a series of rounds to come out ahead in the series - 16:10.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which turned out to be the NIP's choice. But now the Brazilian team has shown its strong defense, winning half with a score of 12: 3. After switching sides, the Swedes began to close the gap, actually getting closer to their opponent. However, a series of mistakes from the NIP allowed the Brazilian team to seize the initiative and snatch the victory - 16: 8.

Everything was decided on the Ancient map, which developed in an equal manner. However, the force-round won allowed the NIP to take over the economy, and at the same time a psychological advantage. As a result, the Swedish team very confidently finished the half in their favor, practically guaranteeing a victory. The change of sides did not cheer up the GODSENT players, who continued to get lost on the map, giving up the initiative. As a result, NIP confidently dealt with its opponent, thereby making it to the semifinals of IEM Winter 2021 - 16: 8.
