K23 wins Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Regional Series 4

The Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Regional Series 4 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from November 22 to December 5, 16 teams competed for a prize pool of $ 30,000. The winner of the tournament was the K23 team, which beat ECSTATIC in the grand final with a score of 2: 0 (Dust 2 - 16:11; Ancient - 16: 4).

The tournament for the future winner started with two confident victories over SKADE (2: 0) and Lynn Vision Gaming (2: 0) at the group stage. Thanks to this, the Russian team received a high seeding in the quarterfinals, hitting the touch the crown. K23 confidently coped with the German team, thus continuing its series. However, in the semifinals, the team beat the nerves of the fans by losing one map to BLUEJAYS. And yet K23 managed to emerge victorious from the confrontation to make it to the grand final.

At the same time, ECSTATIC performed slightly worse at the group stage, losing to Unique (0: 2). However, two dry victories over Eternal Fire allowed the Danish team to make it to the playoffs. Here the team beat Entropiq (2: 1) and Nemiga (2: 0) to reach the grand final.

However, in the decisive meeting, K23 looked flawless, having managed to show not only her own pick, but also a good play on the opponent's choice, thereby earning $ 15,000. Thanks to this victory, the Russian team broke into the second line of the Funspark ULTI 2021 table, gaining 49 points.
