Gambit team became the champion of IEM Fall 2021 CIS. In a match phenomenal in terms of the intensity of passions and adherence to principles, the Russian team turned out to be stronger than NAVI with a score of 2: 0. With this victory, Gambit earned $ 17,500, as well as 2,500 RMR Points.

The final match began on the Overpass map, which became Gambit's choice. At first, none of the teams could create a solid foundation for success, until the “hosts” broke the NAVI economy and pulled ahead three rounds in the first half. After the side switching, Gambit continued to put pressure on the opponent, thereby increasing its lead. This allowed the team to finally break NAVI, and at the same time win the first map with a score of 16: 7.

On Mirage, the first half developed in a scenario similar to the first map, although here NAVI was already able to provide a minimal lead before switching sides. But Gambit showed a phenomenal defense again, thus securing a confident ending - 16:11.

At the end of the tournament, the MVP award went to sh1ro, who finished IEM Fall 2021 CIS with a rating of 1.45. For a Russian, this is the first award since February 2021.
