Team Bravos became the first participant in the IEM Fall 2021 South America Grand Final. According to the results of the final of the upper bracket, the Brazilian team turned out to be stronger than their compatriots from Sharks with a score of 2: 1. Now the team will meet with the winner of the final of the lower bracket, whose name will become known on Sunday, October 3.

The meeting with Sharks began on the Ancient map, chosen by Bravos. However, at their own peak, the team failed to show a worthy defense, thereby allowing the opponent to take the lead - 14:16. Nevertheless, on the Vertigo map, the team woke up, quickly ending the first half, and at the same time securing an easy victory at the opponent's pick - 16: 9.

In the end, everything was decided on the Inferno map, where at first the Sharks players owned the initiative. But after the changeover, Bravos quickly closed the two-fold gap, and then galloped forward, recording a landslide victory on the decisive map - 16:12.

After this defeat, Sharks falls to the final of the lower bracket, where they will face the winner of the Imperial - MIBR pair. Note that only two teams are fighting for getting to PGL Major Stockholm 2021 - Sharks and MIBR. For "sharks" it is enough to finish the tournament higher than the rival in order to be guaranteed to take part in the championship in Sweden.
