All participants of IEM Fall 2021 Asia determined

The closed qualification in the Asian region has come to an end, as a result of which all the participants of IEM Fall 2021 Asia have been determined. After three days of competition, Team NKT and Checkmate qualified for the main event.

The closed qualifier began with Checkmate's victory over Team NKT. However, after this match, there was a small scandal, as a result of which the Mongolian team was awarded a technical defeat. According to Valve's rules, during RMR tournaments and qualifiers, there should be no unauthorized persons in the same room with the players, which was violated during the fight. As a result, Team NKT went further down the grid to beat Wings Up (2: 0) in the final and qualify for IEM Fall 2021 Asia.

In her turn, after a technical defeat, Checkmate went to conquer the lower bracket, in which she first dealt with Invictus Gaming (2: 0), and then beat Wings Up (2: 1), taking the last slot for the upcoming IEM Fall 2021 Asia.

Thus, the list of participants in IEM Fall 2021 Asia. as follows:

  • TYLOO.
  • ViCi Gaming.
  • Team NKT.
  • Checkmate.

Recall that IEM Fall 2021 Asia will be held online from October 5 to 10. Four teams will compete for a $ 10,000 prize pool and precious RMR Points. Plus, the top three will receive ESL Pro Tour points.
