Beyond the Summit is the organizer of cs_summit 2, the company is well-known for Dota 2 tournaments.

It should be noticed that Beyond the Summit events have championships have a peculiarity – unformal conditions. All tournaments from BtS are famous for the spectators see not an arena, analytics studio or players’ booths on their screens, but an opposite. The event takes place in a mention in LA. Instead of booths we will see home-like playing rooms, instead of analytics studio and commentators, the casters will tell about the tournament from the coaches in an unformal atmosphere.

Tournament participants

8 teams will participate in the event. 7 of them received direct invites: Cloud9, Team Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, North, OpTic Gaming, SK Gaming and Vega Squadron. mousesports should have been the 8th participants, as they won LOOT.BET Cup 2, but they desisted from participation, and the invite was given out to Heroic, vice-champions of LOOT.BET Cup 2.

Details of the tournaments

Currently, there is no information about prize pool distribution ($150,000) as well as the list of casters has not been revealed. The championship took place on February 8 – 11.
