The overall prize pool of the championship will amount $50,000 and two invites to StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 — Challengers Stage. The team to place third will go to 3rd Place Play-In where two more invites to the Major will be up for grabs. The event will be hosted on July 17-21 and the number of participants will be 8 teams, which have passed closed qualifiers.
Eight teams will be divided into two groups with 4 teams in each. The first matches of the group stage will be played in a bo1 format, while the rest of the matches of the tournament will be hosted in a bo3 series. Teams will play by a GSL system in the initial stage. There, they will decide the top 2 rosters from each group, which will go to the playoffs. The final stage will be carried out in a double-elimination bracket.
With regard to the distribution of prizes, only three teams will earn rewards. The winner will earn the main money prize in the sum of $30,000 and an invite to the Major tournament. The silver medalist will receive the same reward, however, unlike the participant to place first, the vice-champion will earn not $30,000 but $15,000. The team to place third will earn $5,000 and, as it was said before, an invite to 3rd Place Play-In.
