World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List

The tournament that every League of Legends fan eagerly awaits each year — and the ultimate dream of every professional player — the World Championship (Worlds). This year’s competition is incredibly fierce, with every team ready to showcase their full potential and everything they’ve learned throughout the season. That’s why we decided to create our own tier lists for players by role.

This tier list will be based on each player’s individual performance, their team’s achievements during the current season, and their career accomplishments — though it will also include a touch of subjective opinion. So if you have your own version of a tier list, feel free to share it — we’d love to take a look. Now, let’s move on to our ADC Tier List for Worlds 2025.

Gen.G Ruler

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 1

I think it comes as no surprise to anyone that Ruler is currently considered the strongest ADC in the world. Overall, the season has been absolutely incredible for Gen.G, as they managed to win nearly every tournament they participated in this year. Ruler also earned the MVP title of the LCK 2025 Season Finals.

  • LCK 2025 Season – 1st place – Gen.G 3:1 Hanwha Life Esports
  • Esports World Cup 2025 – 1st place – Gen.G 3:2 AG.AL (Anyone’s Legend)
  • 2025 Mid-Season Invitational – 1st place – Gen.G 3:2 T1
  • LCK 2025 Road to MSI – 1st place – Gen.G 3:2 Hanwha Life Esports
  • LCK Cup 2025 – 2nd place – Gen.G 2:3 Hanwha Life Esports

Ruler is also the Worlds 2017 Champion with Samsung Galaxy, the finalist of Worlds 2016, and twice finished 3rd–4th at Worlds 2021 and 2023. On top of that, he’s a multiple-time regional champion in one of the strongest leagues in the world, the LCK.

His best champions include Ezreal, Zeri, Lucian, Xayah, Aphelios, Varus, and Kalista. Of course, this isn’t the full list of champions with which Ruler has maintained a positive win rate — he has an enormous number of professional matches with excellent stats, so the full list may vary slightly depending on the platform.

T1 Gumayusi

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 2

This year, T1 have faced certain difficulties following their top lane roster change, yet they still managed to deliver solid results overall. Throughout the year, Gumayusi has been heavily criticized — mostly by fans who believe he’s an ADC that can’t perform without a strong team around him. However, in my opinion, he remains one of the strongest ADCs in the world. And as we all know, T1 is the kind of team that can spend the whole year showing average results and then transform completely once Worlds begins.

  • LCK 2025 Season – 4th place – T1 2:3 Gen.G
  • Esports World Cup 2025 – 3rd place – T1 2:0 G2 Esports
  • 2025 Mid-Season Invitational – 2nd place – T1 2:3 Gen.G
  • LCK 2025 Road to MSI – 2nd place – T1 3:0 Hanwha Life Esports
  • LCK Cup 2025 – 5th-6th place – T1 2:3 Hanwha Life Esports

It’s also important to mention that Gumayusi is a two-time Worlds champion (2023 and 2024) — an accomplishment very few players in history can boast. He also finished 3rd–4th at Worlds 2021 and 2nd at Worlds 2022, along with numerous regional finals and a victory at the EWC 2024.Some of his best champions include Jhin, Varus, Xayah, Aphelios, Lucian, and Jinx. Despite the fans’ unjustified criticism, I believe Gumayusi is still among the best, and T1 have what it takes to perform strongly at Worlds 2025.

The only concern is that their first match at Worlds 2025 will be on October 14 – T1 vs Invictus Gaming, and there’s always the risk of an early exit finishing 17th, which, in my opinion, would be quite unfair considering the caliber of both teams — but that’s a different discussion altogether.

Hanwha Life Esports Viper

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 3

The ADC of one of Korea’s strongest teams, Viper, also holds a high position on our list — in my opinion, his gameplay alone could be studied and analyzed for hours. Hanwha Life Esports started the season very strong, then dipped slightly in form, but managed to bounce back toward the end of the regional tournaments.

  • LCK 2025 Season – 2nd place – Hanwha Life Esports 1:3 Gen.G
  • Esports World Cup 2025 – 5th-8th place – Hanwha Life Esports 1:2 AG.AL
  • LCK 2025 Road to MSI – 3rd place – Hanwha Life Esports 0:3 T1
  • 2025 First Stand Tournament – 1st place – Hanwha Life Esports 3:1 Karmine Corp
  • LCK Cup 2025 – 1st place – Hanwha Life Esports 3:2 Gen.G

From his earlier achievements, Viper notably won Worlds 2021 with EDward Gaming, reached multiple LCK finals, and also claimed the LPL 2021 Summer title — switching regions and languages successfully, which is an impressive feat in the pro scene.

Viper’s champion pool includes Kai’Sa, Ezreal, Zeri, Varus, Xayah, and Lucian.

Undoubtedly one of the top ADCs in the world, and if the team performs like they did at the start of the season, HLE has every chance to claim the championship title. What do you think — can Viper lift his second Worlds trophy above his head?

Anyone`s Legend Hope

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 4

Now let’s move on to the LPL region and, in my opinion, the strongest ADC in this region this year — Hope. It has been an extremely successful and eventful year for both Anyone’s Legend and Hope himself, with numerous finals and solid performances on the international stage.

  • LPL 2025 Split 3 – 3rd place – Anyone’s Legend 1:3 Top Esports
  • Esports World Cup 2025 – 2nd place – Anyone’s Legend 2:3 Gen.G
  • 2025 Mid-Season Invitational – 3rd place – Anyone’s Legend 2:3 T1
  • LPL 2025 Split 2 – 1st place – Anyone’s Legend 3:1 Bilibili Gaming
  • LPL 2025 Split 1 – 2nd place – Anyone’s Legend 1:3 Top Esports

This year, AG made tremendous progress, improving both individually and as a team. A big factor behind this growth was the arrival of two coaches, including Tabe, who joined in March 2024 and has led several teams to championship titles.

Hope’s personal accomplishments include multiple victories and finals in the LPL, a Demacia Cup 2024 win, and 3rd–4th place at Worlds 2022. Overall, the team stands as one of the main contenders for the world title — but only if they’ve found the key to unlocking their full potential.

Hope’s best champions are Varus, Aphelios, Kai’Sa, Miss Fortune, Jinx, and Kalista. However, since Kalista’s overall performance across all regions hasn’t been impressive this season, we can only hope she won’t appear in the drafts.

Top Esports JackeyLove

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 5

And closing our S-Tier is another star of the LPL stage and an undeniably powerful ADC — JackeyLove from Top Esports. Overall, the season went fairly well for the player, though with mixed success. He achieved solid results in his region but only participated in one international tournament, where the team didn’t perform at their best.

  • LPL 2025 Regional Finals – 1st place – Top Esports 3:1 Invictus Gaming
  • LPL 2025 Split 3 – 2nd place – Top Esports 2:3 Bilibili Gaming
  • LPL 2025 Split 2 – 5th-6th place – Top Esports 2:3 Team WE
  • 2025 First Stand Tournament – 3rd-4th place – Top Esports 0:3 Hanwha Life Esports
  • LPL 2025 Split 1 – 1st place – Top Esports 3:1 Anyone’s Legend

From his earlier career achievements, it’s worth highlighting his Worlds 2018 victory with Invictus Gaming, where they defeated Fnatic 3:0, as well as winning MSI 2020 already under the Top Esports banner, alongside countless LPL titles and finals appearances.

JackeyLove’s best champions are Varus, Ezreal, Kai’Sa, Lucian, Aphelios, and Xayah. Top Esports can challenge any team for the championship title, but at this stage, their success will depend heavily on the tournament bracket. In my opinion, given their current form, it’s unlikely that Top Esports can show their best game against peak Gen.G or Hanwha Life Esports.

In the blog “ Worlds 2025: A Complete Overview of All Teams ”, we took a detailed look at all teams participating in this year’s World Championship — check it out to better understand their form and get a clearer idea of the potential match outcomes.

Bilibili Gaming Elk

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 6

Next on the list, I’d highlight Bilibili Gaming’s ADC – Elk, who most likely opens our A-Tier. An experienced player in the ADC role, Elk is someone who has earned the respect of players across all regions. This season with Bilibili Gaming wasn’t the most successful, but it would be unfair to call it a failure either.

  • LPL 2025 Split 3 – 1st place – Bilibili Gaming 3:2 Top Esports
  • Esports World Cup 2025 – 5th-8th Gaming 1:2 G2 Esports
  • 2025 Mid-Season Invitational – 4th place – Bilibili Gaming 0:3 Anyone’s Legend
  • LPL 2025 Split 2 – 2nd place – Bilibili Gaming 1:3 Anyone’s Legend
  • LPL 2025 Split 1 – 4th place – Bilibili Gaming 1:3 Top Esports

The start of the season can be considered rather unsuccessful, but toward the end, the team slowly began to regain form. The same can be said for Elk — even in the games they lost, his stats weren’t always impressive, but he always did everything possible in his role to lead the team to victory.

Elk is a multiple-time LPL champion, Demacia Cup 2022 winner, and achieved 3rd–4th place at Worlds 2023 and 2nd place at Worlds 2024, where BLG suffered a heartbreaking 2:3 loss to T1. Unfortunately, he still hasn’t managed to lift the Worlds trophy — could this be the year? Possibly, but BLG certainly aren’t considered favorites for the championship this time.

Elk’s signature champions are Ezreal, Xayah, Lucian, Kalista, Zeri, and Senna.

Invictus Gaming GALA

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 7

Next in our A-Tier is the ADC of Invictus GamingGALA. The 2025 season didn’t go as smoothly as the player and his team would have liked, but it can’t be called a failure either.

  • LPL 2025 Regional Finals – 2nd place – Invictus Gaming 3:1 JD Gaming
  • LPL 2025 Split 3 – 5th-6th place – Invictus Gaming 0:3 Anyone`s Legend
  • LPL 2025 Split 2 – 3rd place – Invictus Gaming 1:3 Bilibili Gaming
  • LPL 2025 Split 1 – 7th-8th place – Invictus Gaming 1:3 Top Esports

From GALA’s earlier achievements, it’s worth noting that he is a two-time MSI champion, having won in 2021 and 2022. Unfortunately for him, Worlds has always been a tougher stage — over the past four years, playing for two different teams, Royal Never Give Up and LNG Esports, from 2021 to 2024, he consistently finished in the 5th–8th place range.

This year, unfortunately for both GALA and the entire Invictus Gaming roster, there’s a real risk of an early exit, potentially finishing 17th, as their very first match will be against T1 — a do-or-die game.

GALA’s best champions are Kai’Sa, Xayah, Varus, Aphelios, Ezreal, and Tristana.

G2 Esports Hans Sama

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 8

To close our A-Tier list, I would place Hans Sama, the representative of the LEC region and, in my opinion, the strongest ADC from this region. For both Hans Sama and G2, this season wasn’t as good as the previous one, but it can hardly be called a bad one either.

  • LEC 2025 Summer – 1st place – G2 Esports 3:0 MKOI
  • Esports World Cup 2025 – 4th place – G2 Esports 0:2 T1
  • 2025 Mid-Season Invitational – 7th-8th place – G2 Esports 0:3 FlyQuest
  • LEC 2025 Spring – 2nd place – G2 Esports 1:3 MKOI
  • LEC 2025 Winter – 2nd place – G2 Esports 0:3 Karmine Corp

The main success and highlight of Hans Sama’s career was probably last year when G2 won every single split in the LEC. Unfortunately, at Worlds 2024, they finished only 9th–11th, but that was largely due to an incredibly unlucky group draw.

At Worlds 2025, in my opinion, G2 has the best chances among all the LEC teams that qualified. The team can genuinely put up a strong fight, and Hans Sama is capable of competing with the best ADCs in the world.

Hans Sama has solid statistics on the following champions: Varus, Jinx, Lucian, Aphelios, Kalista, and Sivir.

KT Rolster deokdam

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 9

At the top of the B-Tier, I would place the representative of the LCK region currently playing for KT Rolster – deokdam. Among all LCK representatives at this tournament, he is considered one of the weaker ADCs, and at the moment, he doesn’t have any major achievements to his name. The season for KT Rolster wasn’t exactly great, but given how incredibly high the competition level is in the LCK, qualifying for Worlds is already a huge success for them.

  • LCK 2025 Season – 3rd place – KT Rolster 0:3 Gen.G
  • LCK 2025 Road to MSI – 4th place – KT Rolster 1:3 T1
  • LCK Cup 2025 – 5th-6th place – KT Rolster 0:3 NS Red Force

Among deokdam’s most notable achievements is finishing 5th–8th at Worlds 2022 as part of DAMWON Gaming. Other than that, his accomplishments mostly include victories in several A-Tier tournaments and modest placements at regional events.

Deokdam has good statistics on Aphelios, Ezreal, Varus, Jinx, and Kalista. Compared to ADC players ranked higher, his champion pool with solid pro-level stats is relatively small. That means if he doesn’t get his comfort picks, KT Rolster could run into serious problems. Another major factor is the Fearless Draft format, which poses a big challenge for teams — especially for players with a limited champion pool like deokdam.

CTBC Flying Oyster Doggo

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 10

Next, I’d include Doggo in the list. This year, together with CTBC, he has shown excellent results, and in my opinion, they are one of the dark horses of the tournament — a team that could truly surprise some of the top contenders.

  • LCP 2025 Season Finals – 1st place – CTBC Flying Oyster 3:0 Secret Whales
  • Esports World Cup 2025 – 9th-10th place – CTBC Flying Oyster 0:1 MKOI
  • 2025 Mid-Season Invitational – 5th-6th place – CTBC Flying Oyster 1:3 Anyone’s Legend
  • LCP 2025 Mid Season – 1st place – CTBC Flying Oyster 3:2 GAM Esports
  • 2025 First Stand Tournament – 3rd-4th place – CTBC Flying Oyster 2:3 Karmine Corp
  • LCP 2025 Season Kickoff – 1st place – CTBC Flying Oyster 3:1 Talon

As you can see, the 2025 season was complete domination by CTBC in their region. While their international results weren’t the best, the team objectively showed great gameplay and proved they can compete with the best teams in the world.

Doggo’s champions are Aphelios, Kai’Sa, Zeri, Jinx, and Kalista. His champion pool isn’t particularly large, and the percentage of meta picks leaves something to be desired, but there has been plenty of time to prepare for Worlds 2025 — so I believe this guy can still surprise us.

FlyQuest Massu

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 11

The next player I’d like to highlight in our tier list is a representative of the LTA region and a member of FlyQuest – Massu. Starting from the end of last year and throughout this entire season, Massu has shown tremendous improvement, and together with FlyQuest, he proved it by winning championship titles in his region and achieving solid results on the international stage.

  • LTA 2025 Championship – 1st place – FlyQuest 3:1 Keyd Stars
  • LTA North 2025 Split 3 – 1st place – FlyQuest 3:1 100 Thieves
  • Esports World Cup 2025 – 5th-8th place – FlyQuest 0:2 Gen.G
  • 2025 Mid-Season Invitational – 5th-6th place – FlyQuest 2:3 Bilibili Gaming
  • LTA North 2025 Split 2 – 1st place – FlyQuest 3:2 Cloud9
  • LTA 2025 Cross-Conference – 3rd-4th place – FlyQuest 1:2 100 Thieves
  • LTA North 2025 Split 1 – 3rd place – FlyQuest 1:0 Team Liquid

Unfortunately, Massu hasn’t secured any other major titles yet. The previous Worlds 2024 went quite well for the team — they finished in 5th-8th place after a very close battle against Gen.G, where the series ended 2:3. This year, the team has objectively become stronger, so it’s quite possible we’ll see them place even higher.

Some of Massu’s best champions are Varus, Ezreal, Kai’Sa, Kalista, Xayah, and Jhin. And if there’s one thing Massu doesn’t lack, it’s a strong champion pool — most of his champions boast win rates well above 50%. Of course, some might say that the LTA region is weaker and it’s easier to stack stats there, but I believe Massu genuinely plays his role extremely well and has great mechanical skill.

MKOI Supa

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 12

Next, we move on to the ADC C-Tier in our opinion. Opening this tier is Supa from MKOI. Compared even to last year, both Supa and the entire team managed to achieve much better results this season.

  • LEC 2025 Summer – 2nd place – MKOI 0:3 G2 Esports
  • Esports World Cup 2025 – 5th-8th place – MKOI 1:2 T1
  • 2025 Mid-Season Invitational – 7th-8th place – MKOI 1:3 CTBC Flying Oyster
  • LEC 2025 Spring – 1st place – MKOI 3:1 G2 Esports
  • LEC 2025 Winter – 4th place – MKOI 1:3 Fnatic

This year has been one of the most successful and productive in Supa’s career. Throughout the season, Supa did an excellent job in his role, though at times he tends to overextend and lose his position, which often becomes a major issue for the team. Overall, MKOI is a fairly competitive and promising team, but this year, finishing in the Top 10 would already be a solid result for them.

The most successful champions in Supa’s hands are Kai’Sa, Ezreal, Zeri, Xayah, Kalista, Varus, and Sivir.

Fnatic Upset

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 13

Another representative of the LEC region continues our tier list – Upset. A very aggressive player both in lane and in general, the whole team tends to play with the mindset of being number one in every match, though it doesn’t always work out. For Upset, this year wasn’t exactly a success, but definitely better than the previous one. The team consistently reached the semifinals but stumbled just a few steps away each time.

  • LEC 2025 Summer – 3rd place – Fnatic 1:3 MKOI
  • LEC 2025 Spring – 4th place – Fnatic 0:3 Karmine Corp
  • LEC 2025 Winter – 3rd place – Fnatic 2:3 Karmine Corp

Among all LEC representatives at Worlds 2025, Fnatic has the lowest chance of finishing higher than 10th place. Their only hope lies in getting lucky with the bracket. Upset himself, however, might perform quite well at the tournament, as his champion pool is strong. He has solid stats on Kai’Sa, Xayah, Zeri, Tristana, Kalista, and Jhin.

100 Thieves FBI

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 14

Next in the C-Tier list is the player known as FBI, a representative of the LTA region. Overall, this year has been quite decent for him, and qualifying for Worlds can be considered a success. He’s a highly competitive player within his region, but unfortunately, his performance on the international stage looks weaker.

  • LTA 2025 Championship – 3rd place – 100 Thieves 1:3 Keyd Stars
  • LTA North 2025 Split 3 – 2nd place – 100 Thieves 1:3 FlyQuest
  • LTA North 2025 Split 2 – 5th-6th place – 100 Thieves 0:3 Shopify Rebellion
  • LTA 2025 Cross-Conference – 2nd place – 100 Thieves 0:3 Team Liquid
  • LTA North 2025 Split 1 – 1st place – 100 Thieves 1:0 Cloud9

The biggest success in his career so far was reaching the 5th–8th place at Worlds 2023 with NRG. If FBI and the 1 00 Thieves manage to reach the same placement this year, it will already be a big achievement for the team. Still, it’s hard to expect too much from them, though who knows — maybe they’ll show up as underdogs and surprise several teams that underestimate them.

Hero pool of FBI: Kai’Sa, Aphelios, Ezreal, Varus, Jhin, Lucian, Xayah.

PSG Talon Betty

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 15

And so we come to the end of our tier list. Opening the D-Tier is PSG Talon’s Betty – a representative of the LCP region. For Betty, this season turned out quite well by the standards of regional championships. Unfortunately, there were no appearances at international tournaments, which could impact the overall evaluation.

  • LCP 2025 Season Finals – 3rd place – PSG Talon 1:3 Secret Whales
  • LCP 2025 Mid Season – 3rd place – PSG Talon 1:3 GAM Esports
  • LCP 2025 Season Kickoff – 2nd place – PSG Talon 1:3 CTBC Flying Oyster

At the beginning of his career, Betty showed an excellent performance, winning S-Tier tournaments one after another. However, since 2019, his results have been gradually declining. Among the most notable achievements in his career are 3rd–4th place at MSI 2017 and again 3rd–4th place at MSI 2018.

He performs well on the following champions: Varus, Kai’Sa, Ezreal, Kalista, Jhin, Zeri, and Lucian.

Secret Whales Eddie

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 16

The next player in D-Tier is Eddie from Secret Whales. Looking at the bigger picture, Eddie’s level of play has improved quite a lot over the past year. This year has been quite successful for him, considering that last year he only competed in A-Tier tournaments.

  • LCP 2025 Season Finals – 2nd place – Team Secret 0:3 CTBC Flying Oyster
  • LCP 2025 Mid Season – 4th place – Team Secret 1:3 GAM Esports
  • LCP 2025 Season Kickoff – 5th-6th place – Team Secret 0:2 GAM Esports

The team started from 5th-6th place and managed to reach Worlds, which is the biggest achievement in Eddie’s career so far. It’s hard to say that Eddie can pose serious competition to players from the LCK or LPL regions, but the opportunity to play against them is already a major step forward in his career.

Hero pool of Eddie: Xayah, Zeri, Jinx, Aphelios, Varus, Kalista, and Sivir.

Keyd Stars Morttheus

World Championship 2025 ADC Tier-List 17

And closing our list is Keyd Stars’ Morttheus. For this player, it’s his first year on the S-Tier stage after competing in academy leagues. The fact that he managed to qualify for Worlds 2025 together with his team cannot go unnoticed. The player is still young and promising, so I believe this won’t be his last Worlds. Here are his achievements this season.

  • LTA 2025 Championship – 2nd place – Keyd Stars 1:3 FlyQuest
  • LTA South 2025 Split 3 – 1st place – Keyd Stars 3:0 Red Canids
  • LTA South 2025 Split 2 – 4th place – Keyd Stars 0:3 Isurus Estral
  • LTA South 2025 Split 1 – 7th-8th place – Keyd Stars 1:2 LOUD

Hero pool of Morttheus: Jhin, Lucian, Jinx, Draven, Aphelios. Unfortunately for the team and Morttheus himself, his performance on other champions that are frequently picked right now shows rather low statistics or too few official games to make any conclusions about his potential.

This concludes our ADC tier list. As I mentioned earlier, this is a subjective list based on players’ results and personal preference. If you have your own interesting tier list, it would be great to read it. Enjoy watching the main tournament of the year, and I hope the team you’re rooting for lifts the trophy above their heads.
