Riot Games managed to create the mix from the classic team shooter like Counter-Strike and heroic shooter like Overwatch. As a result, the developers created a project that absorbed the strongest features of both genres and became a worthy representative of the modern professional eShooter scene with a user base of over 17,000,000 players.

The developers of Valorant Mobile
The main developer of Valorant Mobile is Riot Games - also known for League of Legends. The developers have already had experience in creating mobile versions of their full-length games. So in 2020 they released League of Legends: Wild Rift. Though the project was not able to squeeze the Honor of Kings from the leader of mobile market, but occupies a worthy position in its niche and is notable for a decent level of technical performance and good adaptation of the controls on mobile devices.
Also working on Valorant Mobile will be assisted by Tencent Corporation, the parent company of Riot Games. And this is a good signal that everything will be fine with the quality of the final product and its promotion in various markets, including the Chinese market.
Tencent is the world's largest mobile game developer and publisher. Tencent's portfolio includes projects such as PUBG Mobile, CoD Mobile and Pokemon UNITE. The collaboration of such experienced development teams is encouraging.
Valorant Mobile beta test
As far back as last year, it became known that Valorant Mobile was being actively tested in closed mode in China. Later it became known that the testing was being expanded to Asian countries. Differences from the original
A special feature of the mobile version of Valorant stunet is that it will not be the usual porting of the desktop game on the iOS and Android operating systems. Riot Games is working with Tencent from the ground up to create a mobile game that will be similar in appearance, mechanics and content to Valorant for Windows.
Naturally, from a graphical point of view Valorant Mobile will look a little simpler than the original, and the controls will be adapted for mobile devices. Also, it will be adaptable to be controlled with a gamepad, which can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
Valorant Mobile release date
First rumors about Valorant Mobile were started at the beginning of 2021. After about half a year of active discussion on forums, in June of the same year Riot Games announced that a mobile version of Valorant is in development.
So far, Riot Games did not announce a specific release date for Valorant Mobile, but is expected to hold a public beta test by the end of this year. Indirectly, all facts hint that the project will see the light of day in 2024. Rushindra Sinha, CEO of the Global Esports team that partners with VCT Pacific, said that he has received news directly from Riot that Valorant Mobile will not release in 2023.
