LEC Spring 2025: Key Moments from Week 5 and Upcoming Week 6 Matches

We’re just a short time away from finding out which teams will advance to the playoffs of LEC Spring 2025. Only two weeks remain until that moment, with 12 matches left to be played across these final weeks. Some teams are already almost guaranteed a playoff spot, while for others, these two weeks will be absolutely decisive. In this blog, I’ll walk you through the upcoming matches of LEC Spring 2025 Regular Season Week 6, as well as recap the results and key highlights from Week 5.
Week Six: LEC Spring 2025 Schedule

The third week of the Regular Season will take place from May 03 to May 05, featuring a total of 6 matches.
And here is the LEC Spring 2025 – Week 6 Schedule:
Date | Match |
May 03 | Team BDS vs Fnatic |
May 03 | Karmine Corp vs Rogue |
May 04 | GIANTX vs Team BDS |
May 04 | G2 Esports vs Team Vitality |
May 05 | Team Heretics vs Fnatic |
May 05 | MKOI vs SK Gaming |
Every new match week challenges the teams to their limits, forcing them to adapt and grow with each game. Here’s a quick refresher on how the group stage is structured. The LEC Spring 2025 Regular Season uses a Single Round Robin format, where all 10 teams play each other once, totaling 9 matches per team. The final rankings are determined by overall performance, factoring in both match wins and individual map victories. Every match is played as a best-of-three (Bo3) under Fearless Draft rules. Only the top six teams move forward to the playoffs to battle for the Spring Split championship.
Matches You Shouldn't Miss
As we get closer to the end of the Regular Season, every match turns into an unpredictable and thrilling battle on the lands of Runeterra. And of course, there are matchups you simply don’t want — or can’t afford — to miss. This week is no exception, and I highly recommend tuning in for these games.
The match between Fnatic vs Team BDS is one to watch closely. Right now, Team BDS are sitting at the bottom of the standings and are currently out of playoff contention. However, they’ve already shown during the tournament that they’re capable of pulling off surprises, so Fnatic will need to stay sharp. A wounded beast is the most dangerous, and Team BDS still have sharp fangs — let your guard down, and you could lose before you even realize it.
Then there’s G2 Esports vs Team Vitality, which promises to be an exciting clash. On paper, G2 should easily take down their opponents, but LEC Spring 2025 has been full of surprises week after week. This matchup could turn out to be another unforgettable game.
Honestly, I’d recommend not skipping any of the final week’s matches. For every team, each game could be their last chance. So make sure to save the schedule and don’t miss your favorite team’s matches!
LEC Spring 2025 Week 5 Results

LEC Spring 2025 Regular Season has turned out to be incredibly exciting and full of unexpected results. Every team is fully aware of their position and knows they need to give it their all, even those sitting at the top of the standings. This tournament has proven just how dangerous it is to underestimate your opponents.
The biggest shock and headline of the week has been G2 Esport s’ disastrous performance. The tournament favorites dropped from 3rd to 5th place in just two matchdays after suffering back-to-back defeats. Their first critical loss came against GIANTX — and calling it a shock is an understatement. Their second match of the week was against Fnatic, a much tougher opponent. Unfortunately for G2, they couldn’t hold their ground, taking another loss and falling into a risky position as the Regular Season nears its end.
After Week 5, the standings have shifted in some very interesting ways. Karmine Corp remain the leaders, holding onto 1st place. Right behind them in 2nd place is Fnatic. And MKOI have rightfully secured 3rd place.
Team Heretics sit in 4th, with G2 Esports in 5th. Team Vitality currently occupy 6th place — the last spot to qualify for the playoffs. But the most exciting part is yet to come, as every team is walking a fine line and a single loss could send them plummeting down the table.
The bottom of the standings is shared by four teams, all of whom still have a chance to climb back up. But they only have two weeks left to turn things around. Team BDS are in 7th place and could surprise everyone by making a late playoff push. SK Gaming are in 8th, while GIANTX currently sit 9th but still have a shot at qualifying. Unfortunately, Rogue remain in 10th place, and honestly, it seems like their journey might be over. They’ve got no easy matchups left, and their performance hasn’t inspired much hope.
