
Dota 2 BLAST Slam IV Overview

The new professional Dota 2 season begins with BLAST Slam IV, starting on October 14, 2025. This tournament is the first major event after The International 2025, and every team will surely give their all to start the season on a high note. BLAST Slam IV Format and Dates

BLAST Slam IV will take place from October 14 to November 9, 2025, in Singapore, marking the beginning of a brand-new professional Dota 2 season. This is the fourth event in the BLAST Slam series and promises to continue the trend of being one of the most exciting tournaments of the fall.
The tournament will feature a unique multi-stage format:
Group Stage
- 12 teams, Bo1 round-robin
- Top 2 teams advance to Semifinals
- 3rd–8th place teams proceed to Play-In
- 9th–12th place teams proceed to Last Chance Playoff
Last Chance Playoff
- All matches are Bo3
- Winner advances to Play-In
- Remaining teams are eliminated
Play-In
- All matches are Bo3
- Winner advances to Quarterfinals
- Remaining teams are eliminated
Playoffs – November 7–9, 2025
- Single-elimination bracket
- Grand Final is Bo5, all other matches are Bo3
This multi-stage format allows for more matches to be played, ensuring a fairer determination of the strongest teams while adding extra excitement for fans.

Initially, Talon Esports and PARIVISION were expected to participate, but they were later replaced by Execration and MOUZ.
