The Polish Counter-Strike scene has come a long way — from Virtus.pro’s “Golden Five” to the rise of young talents who are only beginning to write their own stories. The veterans left behind a legacy that inspires new generations to represent Poland on the global CS stage. The story continues, and in just a few years today’s young players may join the ranks of legends, completing their own journeys on the professional scene. In this article, we highlight those who have already written their names into history, as well as those who are only beginning to pave their way toward it.

xKacpersky

Kacper " xKacpersky " Gabara is an 18-year-old professional CS:GO and CS2 player. He began his career in 2022 by joining Illusion Esports, where he spent only a month before moving to Young Ninjas.

He played just half a year in NiP’s academy and had one tier-1 tournament appearance — ESL Pro League Season 19 — where the team placed 19–22nd. His only first-place finish at that time was at Prodigy Series #1.

In October 2024, he joined ENCE, a well-known European team. Between late 2024 and July 2025, ENCE mostly participated in tier-2 and tier-3 events, with notable placements such as:

  • Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 – 1st place
  • A1 Gaming League Season 9 – 1st place
  • YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025: Closed Qualifier – 1–3rd place
  • YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 – 2nd place

  • YGames PRO Series 2025 – 1st place

In July 2025, he was benched by ENCE and loaned back to NiP, competing at IEM Cologne 2025, where NiP placed 9–12th. So far in his career, he has earned just over $50,000 in prize money.

Roland " ultimate " Tomkowiak is a 20-year-old professional CS2 player who began his career in 2020. Over the years, he played for:

  • AGO Esports
  • Turów Zgorzelec Esport
  • Illuminar Gaming

However, he was unable to achieve significant results with these teams. Most of his performances were limited to Tier 2 and Tier 3 tournaments. Despite gaining valuable experience during this period, he remained inconspicuous on the international stage.

In July 2024, ultimate joined Team Liquid. Within a year, the team participated in numerous tier-1 tournaments but achieved little success. Their only notable performance came at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024, where they finished 1–4th.

Team Liquid has been going through tough times, placing 5–8th at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 and failing to qualify for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. Despite unstable results, ultimate earned most of his career prize money — about $47,000 — while playing for Liquid.

Kamil " siuhy " Szkaradek, 23, is one of Poland’s most promising young talents. He started his career in 2018 with Izako Boars, later moving to MOUZ NXT and then GamerLegion, where he spent nearly a year without significant achievements.

In July 2023, he joined the main MOUZ roster, marking the most successful period of his career so far. Key victories include:

  • ESL Pro League Season 19
  • BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #1

At the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, MOUZ finished 3–4th. In June 2025, siuhy transferred to Team Liquid. Over his career, he has earned more than $415,000, including $295,000 with MOUZ.

Michał "MICHU" Müller is a veteran of the Polish scene, starting his career at just 16 years old. Over 13 years, he represented many organizations, with his most notable runs coming with Team Kinguin and Virtus.pro.

During his stint with Team Kinguin, MICHU became a key figure in the roster, helping the team secure several strong finishes on both the national and international stage. Their most notable achievements include:

  • ESL Mistrzostwa Polski: Spring 2017 – 1st place
  • Polska Liga Esportowa S2 – 1st place

It was during this period that MICHU proved himself as one of the most talented Polish riflers, which allowed him to move on to a higher level of teams.

Joining Virtus.pro marked another important chapter in MICHU’s career. Competing under one of the most iconic banners in Counter-Strike, he gained valuable experience on the tier-1 stage and played a key role in several deep tournament runs. Among the highlights of his time with Virtus.pro were:

  • V4 Future Sports Festival 2018 (Budapest) – 2nd place
  • CS:GO Asia Championships 2018 – 2nd place
  • IEM Shanghai 2018 – 3–4th place
  • Polska Liga Esportowa S5 Finals – 1st place
  • V4 Future Sports Festival 2019 (Budapest) – 2nd place

He has earned over $235,000 in prize money. His last team was IKLA, which he left in March 2024, and he is now a free agent.

mantuu

Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski, 28, is a Polish AWPer who has been competing since 2015. His best period was with OG, where he played from 2019 to 2023.

His period with OG turned out to be the most successful chapter of his career so far. Playing as the team’s primary AWPer, mantuu helped the roster consistently reach playoffs at elite tournaments and contend with the best teams in the world. Among his key achievements with OG were:

  • BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season – 4–6th place
  • IEM XV New York Online: Europe – 2nd place
  • BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 Regular Season – 1–3rd place

Szymon " kRaSnaL " Mrozek began his career in 2019 with los kogutos. His first notable success was winning ESEA Season 38: Premier Europe with AGO.

Despite never playing for top-tier organizations, he achieved solid results with Monte, representing the Ukrainian team between 2022 and 2025. Together they won:

  • CCT Season 1 West Europe Series #2
  • ESL Challenger League S44: Europe

Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski began his career in 2020, competing mostly at tier-2 and tier-3 events. His only tier-1 event was PGL Bucharest 2025 with Betclic Apogee Esports, where they finished 9–11th.

Still early in his career, jcobbb made a big step in August 2025 by joining FaZe Clan. With them, he qualified for BLAST Open London 2025 Finals, finishing the group stage with a 0.99 rating.

Aleksander "hades" Miśkiewicz started his career in 2018 and rose to prominence with ENCE from late 2023 to mid-2024. Known for his sharp AWP skills, he quickly became one of the key figures in ENCE’s lineup during that period.

During his rise with ENCE, hades managed to secure several important tournament victories that showcased his consistency on the international stage:

  • LOOT.BET/CS Season 9 – 1st place
  • Funspark ULTI 2021: European Playoffs #1 – 1st place
  • BLAST Premier: Spring EU Showdown 2022 – 1st place

Although he did not lift a tier-1 trophy during this period, hades came close on multiple occasions, helping ENCE reach the finals of some of the most prestigious competitions. These deep playoff runs highlighted both his individual skill and his ability to perform under pressure:

Over the years, pashaBiceps has consistently proven himself to be one of the best players in the world. He has repeatedly been ranked in the HLTV Top 20 and, at the peak of his career, even took a place in the top three:

  • 18th in 2011
  • 19th in 2013
  • 3rd in 2014

Representing Virtus.pro, he became one of the most famous figures in Counter-Strike. As part of the legendary lineup, he won several international trophies, including victory at the Major in Katowice in 2014. Among his most notable achievements are:

Throughout his career, NEO has repeatedly been recognized as one of the best players in the world. Thanks to his consistency and leadership qualities, he has repeatedly been included in the top 20 of the HLTV ranking, and in 2011 he received the highest award — the title of the best player in the world:

  • 1st in 2011 (best player in the world)
  • 17th in 2015

NEO’s most glorious years came with Virtus.pro, where he became the face of Polish Counter-Strike on the global stage. Together with the legendary lineup, he lifted some of the most prestigious trophies in the game’s history, including a Major title on home soil in Katowice:
