Team Queso became the champion of EMEA Championship 2022 Season 1
The EMEA Championship 2022 Season 1 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held from May 5 to May 8 in Barcelona, seven teams from Europe and the CIS fought for a prize pool of €208,000, as well as three tickets to the Icons Global Championship 2022. The winner of the tournament was Team Queso, which in the grand final of the competition was stronger than Rix.GG with a score of 4:1.
The tournament for the future winner began with one win and one loss in the group stage. Having made it to the playoffs, Team Queso outplayed Game-Lord (3:1) and Rix.GG (4:1), thus entering the Icons Global Championship 2022 group stage.
In turn, the Rix.GG and Game-Lord teams will start their journey in the tournament from the Play-In stage.
