Acend and SuperMassive Blaze Qualify for VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin
The fifth game day of VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs has come to an end. Based on the results of two semifinal matches, we learned the names of the first teams that received the right to go to VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin. But first things first.
In the first semi-final, Acend and Gambit faced off. Already on the first map, the Russian team realized all the power and confidence of the opponent, who over and over again accepted the attack on Bind. As a result, the Europeans confidently coped with their peak (13: 7) and moved on. However, on the second map, Gambit was in good spirits to win 13 coveted rounds and level the score in the series. And yet, on the third decisive map, the European team shone again, giving the opponent only 5 rounds, having recorded the final victory - 2: 1.
In the second fight, SuperMassive Blaze literally blew G2 out of its way. The Turkish team looked two heads stronger on both maps, allowing G2 to take only 9 rounds in total and fall into the lower bracket - 2: 0.
The next meetings await us on August 18th. In the second round of the lower bracket, two matches will take place: Team Liquid - forZe, Guild Esports - Giants Gaming.
