Sentinels — чемпион VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs
/The VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs has come to an end. At the tournament, which took place from August 11 to 15, the eight best North American teams competed for a combined prize pool of $ 100,000, VCT Circuit Points, as well as three tickets to VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin. As expected, the winner of the tournament was the Sentinels team, which in the grand final easily beat 100 Thieves with a score of 3: 1 (Bind - 13:11; Breeze - 11:13; Haven - 13: 6; Split - 13: 5).
In general, the tournament turned out to be simple for the team. And if in the starting duel with Rise the team had to try, then in all other meetings the Sentinels were head and shoulders ahead of their opponents, having managed to get ahead of schedule not only to VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin, but also to the grand final.
The showdown began with a bit of intrigue as 100 Thieves players fought hard on the first two maps. However, the Sentinels once again managed to prove their superiority, defeating the opponent on the remaining maps and winning another trophy.
Note that the Sentinels became the first team in VALORANT to earn over $ 500,000 in prize money.
