Fire Flux and NAVI Leave VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs

The fourth game day of VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs has come to an end. Based on the results of two matches of the lower bracket, we learned the names of two more teams that left the championship. These losers were Fire Flux Esports and Natus Vincere, which failed to cope with Guild Esports and Giants Gaming, respectively.

The first players to enter the server were Fire Flux Esports and Guild Esports. However, the fight itself turned out to be too simple for the European team, which did not notice the resistance from the representatives of Turkey. And if on the first map Fire Flux Esports still showed signs of struggle, having managed to take six rounds, then on the second map, the team received a total defeat, having failed to take a single round at Ascent.

But in the evening meeting, the intrigue was alive until the last moment. Already on the Ascent map, the teams made it clear that the struggle for survival will be intense. However, overtimes were not crowned with success for NAVI, which gave up its choice with a score of 12:14. Nevertheless, Giants Gaming started to have problems at its peak; and if the first half turned out to be equal, then in defense the European team softened and allowed the score to be leveled in the series. Nevertheless, on the decisive map Davidp and company managed to show a decent game, thus closing all the questions on Split with a score of 13: 8.

Today, August 16, there will be two meetings in the semi-finals of the upper bracket. First, Acend will try to figure out Gambit, but in the evening we will watch the battle between G2 and SuperMassive Blaze.

VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs runs from August 12-22 online. 12 teams from the CIS, Europe and Turkey will compete for a prize fund of € 85,500, as well as three tickets to the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin.
