Sharks Esports hosts VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík

Sharks Esports were unable to cope with KRÜ Esports, so they left VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík, finishing in last place. In turn, in the next round of the lower bracket, KRÜ Esports will face Team Liquid.

The series began on the Icebox map, which was picked by the South American team. “The hosts” quickly seized the initiative, showing a destructive game in defense. Despite the newly won pistol round, the Brazilians only had enough for a short streak, since, having leveled the economy, KRÜ Esports brought the matter to a victorious end - 13: 5.

It seemed that on the Bind map we would see a little more struggle. However, the Brazilian team only had enough strength for the first half, having won five rounds in the attack. However, after the side switching, Sharks Esports fell again, losing a series of the most important rounds. As a result, KRÜ Esports won the second map with a score of 13: 6 and continued on its way to the tournament.

VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík runs from May 24th to 30th. Top 10 teams from different regions compete for $ 600,000 plus 2,350 Champions Tour Points.
