Natus Vincere and Leviatán Esports made it to the quarterfinals of VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo

Natus Vincere and Leviatán Esports made it to the quarterfinals of VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo. According to the results of the last day of the competition, they managed to beat Team Secret (2:0) and Team Vitality (2:0), respectively. Now the teams will play with each other to compete for a ticket to the semi-finals of the championship.

Team Secret - Natus Vincere

The opening match of the game day began on the Icebox map, which became the choice of the Philippine team. At the same time, the players of Team Secret showed a peppy start, breaking the "Born to Win". However, closer to the changeover, Natus Vincere managed to catch up with the opponent and record a draw - 6:6. In the second half, the intrigue disappeared from the radar, as the European team demonstrated a crazy attack and quickly took the lead in the series — 13:7.

Next, the teams moved to the Pearl map, which turned out to be the choice of the Born to Win. Here, Natus Vincere players continued to bend their line, getting round after round. In turn, Team Secret did not come up with anything for the defense, actually signing their defeat - 9:3. After the side switch, the European team continued to put pressure on the opponent in order to quickly resolve all issues and get into the quarterfinals of the competition — 13:4.

Leviatan Esports — Team Vitality

The next meeting started on the Haven map, which became the choice of the Latin American team. Nevertheless, Team Vitality managed to catch on to the game from the first rounds. However, Leviatán Esports also managed to respond with several rounds to prevent defeat - 7:5. After the change of sides, the teams continued to demonstrate an equal game, reaching out to overtime. However, here the Latin Americans managed to hold out to take the lead in the series - 16:14.

Next, the teams moved to the Pearl map, which turned out to be the choice of Team Vitality. Here the intrigue died from the first minutes, as the Latin American team began to destroy the opponent's attacking attempts. As a result, Team Vitality created nothing for the attack, getting a 10:2 rout. After the change of sides, the Europeans did not return to the fight, while the players of Leviatán Esports quickly got the necessary rounds and advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament - 13:3.
