FUT Esports and FURIA have been eliminated from VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo. According to the results of the last gaming day, they failed to cope with 100 Thieves and fnatic, respectively, thus completing their performances within the championship, taking 9th-16th place and earning $10,000.

FUT Esports - 100 Thieves

The opening match of the game day began on the Lotus map, which became the choice of the Turkish team. However, initially the initiative was in the hands of 100 Thieves, who had a good half in the attack and knocked out the minimum advantage - 7:5. However, after the side switch, the situation quickly changed as FUT Esports took control of the game to instantly crush the opponent and take the lead in the series - 13:9.

Next, the teams moved to the Haven map, which turned out to be the choice of 100 Thieves. Here the situation developed in a similar way, since the North Americans were one step ahead of the opponent and successfully played in the attack, again obtaining a minimal advantage - 7:5. After the side switch, FUT Esports made an attempt to surprise the opponent, but 100 Thieves managed to hold out on defense and equalized the score in the series — 13:11.

Everything was decided on the Icebox map, the first half of which ended with a twofold advantage in favor of the North American team — 8:4. After the switch of sides, FUT Esports failed to revive the intrigue, while 100 Thieves got the necessary rounds and closed the series with a final victory — 13:8.

fnatic-FURIA

The final meeting of the quarter-finals of the "Omega" bracket started on the Haven map, which became the choice of the European team. At the same time, fnatic players immediately began to demonstrate their preparation, gaining a twofold advantage with a confident attack - 8:4. However, after the change of sides, the Brazilian team managed to turn the situation around, and completely reached overtime. And yet here fnatic managed to insist on its own in order to break the opponent and take the lead in the series - 18:16.

Next, the teams moved to the Ascent map, which turned out to be the choice of FURIA. Here the situation developed in a similar way, in the sense that the European team again controlled the game and, having shown an exemplary defense, got a two-fold advantage in the score - 8:4. However, now, after the change of sides, the Brazilians failed to revive the intrigue, while the fnatic players confidently finished what they started and made their way to the next round of the championship — 13:9.
