Northeption wins VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs
/VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held from June 10 to 26 in Saitama Prefecture at the Saitama Super Arena, eight Japanese teams for a prize pool of ¥2,000,000, ranking points, as well as a ticket to VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Masters Stage 2 - Copenhagen. The winner of the tournament was the Northeption team, which in the grand final was stronger than ZETA DIVISION with a score of 3:1 (Icebox - 13:11; Haven - 4:13; Fracture - 13:4; Ascent - 13:7).
The championship for the future winner began with victories over Jadeite (2:1) and Crazy Raccoon (2:1). However, in the final of the upper bracket, the Japanese team lost to ZETA DIVISION (0:2) and went to the lower part of the championship. However, Northeption managed to outplay Crazy Raccoon (2:0), and then take revenge on ZETA DIVISION (3:1) in the grand final.
Note that thanks to this victory, the team earned ¥1,000,000 and a ticket to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Masters Stage 2 - Copenhagen.
