Fnatic and FunPlus Phoenix qualified for VCT 2022: Masters Stage 1 - Reykjavík

Teams Fnatic and FunPlus Phoenix have qualified for VCT 2022: Masters Stage 1 - Reykjavík. As a result of the semi-final matches, the teams outplayed M3 Champions (Gambit) and Team Liquid, respectively, thus securing places at the upcoming championship in Iceland.

In their semi-finals, Fnatic managed to snatch victory from M3 Champions. At the same time, the teams fought hard on the decisive Split map, playing 44 rounds. Nevertheless, the European team managed to break M3 Champions, thus making it to the final of the upper bracket, which guarantees participation in VCT 2022: Masters Stage 1 - Reykjavík

In the second semi-final, FunPlus Phoenix beat Team Liquid without nerves, repeating the result of the group stage match. As a result of this victory, the team also made it to the final of the upper bracket and qualified for VCT 2022: Masters Stage 1 - Reykjavík.

Today, March 24, there will be two matches in the lower bracket. First, M3 Champions will try to return to the game, meeting with G2 Esports. Well, in the evening Team Liquid will play with Guild Esports.

VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers runs from February 11 to March 27 online. Twelve teams from Europe, the CIS and Turkey are competing for a prize pool of €200,000, as well as three tickets to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Masters Stage 1 - Reykjavík, which will take place in April.
