E-Xolos LAZER and FUSION qualified for VCT 2022: Latin America Stage 1 - Challengers Playoffs

VCT 2022: Latin America North Stage 1 Challengers has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from February 10 to March 11, six teams from the Northern part of Latin America fought for a prize pool of $15,000, as well as two tickets to VCT 2022: Latin America Stage 1 - Challengers Playoffs. The winner of the tournament was the E-Xolos LAZER team, while the second ticket to the final championship went to the FUSION team.

The tournament for E-Xolos LAZER began with an impressive performance in the group stage, during which the team outplayed Six Karma (2:1), Ryze Gaming (2:0), Infinity (2:1), FUSION (2:0) and Border Monsters (2:0). Thanks to this success, the Colombian team made it to the final of the upper bracket, where they defeated FUSION (2:1) and qualified for VCT 2022: Latin America Stage 1 - Challengers Playoffs.

In turn, FUSION took second place in the group stage with three wins and three losses. However, the team made it to the upper bracket final, where they lost to E-Xolos LAZER (1:2) and fell to the lower bracket. Here, the Colombian team managed to beat Six Karma (2:0), thanks to which they qualified for VCT 2022: Latin America Stage 1 - Challengers Playoffs.

• 3rd place: Six Karma — $3,000 + seat on Challengers 2.
• 4th place: Infinity - place on Challengers 2.
• 5th place: Ryze Gaming.
• 6th place: Border Monsters.
