All participants of VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers have been determined
/The closed qualifiers for VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers in Europe, the CIS and Turkey have ended, following which four teams completed the list of participants in the championship.
European Qualifiers
The first team from Europe to overcome the second closed qualifiers was G2 Esports. After the changes in the line-up, the team has overcome the path from the open qualification, having a strong start in the final stage of the selection. Here the team quickly outplayed Alliance (2:1), TENSTAR (2:1) and Excel Esports (3:1), thereby whitewashing its name for past failures.
The last ticket to VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers from Europe went to LDN UTD. The closed qualifier for the Lithuanian team began with a defeat from Team Vitality (0:2), after which JoYnt's wards fell into the lower bracket, having lost the chance to make a mistake. However, LDN UTD quickly recovered, taking down Rebels Gaming (2:0), TENSTAR (2:0), Team Vitality (2:0) and Excel Esports (3:0) in turn.

Turkish qualifications
BBL Esports became the winner of the second closed qualifier in Turkey. Starting with a strong-willed victory over Thunderbolts Gaming (2:0), the team lost to Futbolist (0:2), thus falling into the lower bracket. However, here the team got a second wind, as it quickly dealt with Galakticos (2:0), Surreal Esports (2:1) and Fire Flux Esports (2:0), thus winning a place in the grand final. Already in the decisive match, BBL Esports managed to take revenge on Futbolist (3:1), thus taking the second slot at VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers from their region.

Qualifications in the CIS
The winner of the second closed qualifier in the CIS was the NAVI team. However, "Born to Win", having started with a victory over EZclap (2:1), lost in the semi-finals to 5MOKES (0:2), having gone to conquer the lower bracket. However, here the team changed, quickly closing out Dobeg (2:0), KPI Gaming (2:0) and Tactical Five eSports (2:1). Once in the grand final, NAVI did not repeat past mistakes, having dealt with 5MOKES (3:0) in the class, not only taking revenge for the defeat at the start of the qualification, but also getting the final ticket to VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers from their region.

VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers
After the completion of all qualifications, the final list of participants in VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers became known. In addition, the organizers made a draw of teams at the group stage, presenting two groups.

VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers will run from February 11 to March 27 online. Twelve teams from Europe, the CIS and Turkey will compete for tickets to Stage 1 Masters.
