G2 Esports becomes the second Grand Finalist of the Six Invitational 2023

The G2 Esports team turned out to be stronger than Oxygen Esports with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they made it to the grand final of the Six Invitational 2023. Here the European team will meet with w7m esports, who have overcome their way through the upper bracket. In turn, the Oxygen Esports team completed their performances in the championship, taking third place and earning $240,000.

The consolidated final started on the Bank map, which became the choice of the North American team. At the same time, the teams showed two completely opposite halves to go to overtime. Here G2 Esports managed to put pressure on the opponent to take the lead in the series and get closer to the grand final — 8:6.

Then the teams moved to the Skyscraper map, which turned out to be the choice of G2 Esports. Nevertheless, here the North American team completely disappeared from the radar, without having imposed a fight on the opponent. In turn, the G2 Esports players made a complete rout and got the final victory in the series — 7:0.

The Six Invitational 2023 takes place from February 7 to 19 in Montreal at Place Bell. As part of the championship, twenty teams from Europe, Asia, North and South America are fighting for a total prize pool of $3,000,000.
