Astralis leaves Six Invitational 2023 after losing to G2 Esports
/The Astralis team lost to G2 Esports with a score of 0:2 and left the Six Invitational 2023. The North American team lost in the lower bracket final, thus taking fourth place in the championship and earning a prize of $170,000. In turn, G2 Esports went further up the bracket and will now play with Oxygen Esports.
The principled meeting started on the Chalet map, which became the choice of the European team. At the same time, the teams demonstrated two equal halves to reach overtime. However, here G2 Esports managed to take the lead and took the lead in the series — 8:7.
The teams then moved to Theme Park, which turned out to be the choice of Astralis. Here, the intrigue existed only at the start, while after the change of sides, the G2 Esports players took control of the situation and brought the matter to victory — 7:5.
Now the European team G2 Esports will play with Oxygen Esports to compete for a place in the grand final of the tournament and a chance to face w7m esports tomorrow, February 19th.
