Rainbow Six Siege X Operation Silent Hunt Update
The Rainbow 6 Siege X Operation Silent Hunt update has officially launched. The main addition is the arrival of the legendary Solid Snake, along with a new weapon, a METAL GEAR SOLID-themed event, balancing changes, and many other improvements.
Operation Silent Hunt welcomes the iconic Solid Snake, who joins R6 Siege as an Attacker Operator with powerful abilities and a new weapon. His arrival is accompanied by a special new in-game event inspired by the METAL GEAR SOLID universe.

Solid Snake Loadout:
- Primary: F2/ PMR90A2
- Secondary: TACIT.45
- Gadgets: Frag Grenade, Stun Grenade, Impact EMP Grenade, Smoke Grenade, Breach Charge
- Health: 1
- Speed: 3
Unique Abilities:
- Soliton Radar Mk. III — a handheld radar with a minimap that marks enemies. At the same time, marked players are notified that they have been detected.
- The ability to scavenge Gadgets from downed Operators for tactical adaptation during the round.
Among the update’s additions is also a Premium Battle Pass, which includes two Black Ice Packs.
The developers have also strengthened anti-toxicity measures: the number of categories in the reporting system has been increased, text chat now features a more advanced context recognition system, and in Ranked Match Cancellation, players responsible for a cancelled match will receive an abandon penalty, a queue penalty, or an automatic loss for their squad.
As part of the new modernized maps, several locations have received improved graphics, updated lighting, and new destructible elements, including Coastline, Villa, and Oregon.
The update also includes a significant package of balancing adjustments for Operators, changes to Ballistic Shields, improvements to Match Replay, and a large list of bug fixes in gameplay, interface, and audio.
