Cloud9 arrives at the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational in Iceland without their coach

Unpleasant news came from the American countryside. This time Cloud9 is told that the team will attend the championship without their mentor. Just like Royal Never Give Up's Tabe, Cloud9's Kim 'Reihnover' Yu Jin will not be able to fly to Iceland due to immigration reasons. He will help his players in an online format, but two of his assistants flew to the tournament along with the players.

According to a photo posted to Cloud9's Twitter account, where there are starting players and top laner from the Academy roster Darshan 'Darshan' Upadhah, the latter most likely flew to Reykjavik to replace any of the players in case of trouble.... At the time of the publication of the photo, the community wondered why there was no Reignover in the frame, but now everything became clear.

Royal Never Give Up was the first to report a partial arrival in Iceland. Their trainer Park Kang 'Tabe' Wong is facing visa difficulties. His passport has expired, and to restore this opportunity, the mentor must visit his home country of Hong Kong. Since there are mandatory quarantine rules for 21 days, he will not have time to issue a permit to fly to Iceland before the start of the championship.

PSG Talon carry player Huan 'Unified' Jun Ji will not be able to arrive at the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational, and GAM Esports will not be able to attend the championship at all due to coronavirus restrictions in Vietnam.
