Gen.G Esports are the winners of LCK Summer 2020 Regional Finals

The final match against T1 was played in the Bo5 format and ended with the score 3-1. Notably, Gen.G received an invitation to the Regional Finals as a seedling team and started straight from the Finals. The team proved that they got the best start for a reason and, without giving their opponents a chance, won a dry win. Thanks to the triumph, Gen.G Esports received an invite to the 2020 Worlds Championship.

The League of Legends World Championship is scheduled to take place from September 25 to October 31 in Shanghai, China. At first, the organizers wanted to hold the tournament in three locations, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, this venture had to be abandoned.
