Dplus Sign New Botlane Players – Smash and Career

Dplus are also strengthening their roster ahead of the upcoming season, and their choice has fallen on two academy players: Smash, a T1 Academy prospect, and Career from FearX Youth.

Smash is a talented young ADC who played for T1 Academy and even stepped in for Gumayusi at the start of the 2025 season, temporarily joining T1 ’s main roster. Despite the pressure, he delivered solid performances against some of the strongest teams and players in the LCK. After T1’s rough start that year, many believed that if Gumayusi ever left the team, Smash would become his successor. Unfortunately for him, this did not happen, but he may still significantly strengthen Dplus KIA and grow further as a player.

Career also looks like a strong addition. He proved himself as a key player for FearX Youth, winning several tournaments with the team. He also gained valuable experience in previous seasons with DRX Academy and DRX Challengers.

Throughout the 2025 season, Dplus struggled with consistency, and a refreshed botlane could be exactly what they need. If Smash and Career manage to build synergy, Dplus have a realistic chance to qualify for Worlds 2026.
