Today featured the second match of Lower Bracket Round 1, where GIANTX faced off against Team BDS. The match was expected to be close and intense, but fans ended up seeing just three games.

Game 1 Picks:

  • GIANTX: Yorik, Vi, Azir, Kai`Sa, Rakan
  • Team BDS: Ambessa, Wukong, Ziggs, Ezreal, Bard

Game 2 Picks:

  • GIANTX: K`Sante, Xin Zhao, Annie, Corki, Rell
  • Team BDS: Aurora, Jax, Victor, Yunara, Braum

Game 3 Picks:

  • GIANTX: Gnar, Maokai, Yone, Varus, Alistar
  • Team BDS: Aatrox, Pantheon, Taliyah, Jhin, Gragas

In Game 1, Team BDS still tried to put up a fight — they farmed the map well and attempted to force skirmishes on their own terms. But the next two games were completely one-sided and lacked any real direction from BDS. GIANTX played cleanly and confidently, closing out the series with a 3–0 sweep.

With this victory, GIANTX move forward to the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals, where they’ll get a chance to face a team dropping down from the upper bracket. As for Team BDS, their tournament run — and their season — comes to an end.
