Freecs Claim Their Third Win at LCK 2025 Round 3–5 with Victory Over BRION

The first match of the day took place in the Rise Group, featuring BRION vs Freecs. Coming into the series, BRION held third place in the group, while Freecs sat in fifth.

Game 1 Picks:

  • BRION: Renekton, Maokai, Yone, Yunara, Nautilus
  • Freecs: Sion, Trundle, Azir, Varus, Rell

Game 2 Picks:

  • BRION: Gwen, Vi, Aurora, Corki, Alistar
  • Freecs: Rumble, Wukong, Annie, Lucian, Braum

Game 3 Picks:

  • BRION: Ambessa, Skarner, Victor, Jhin, Karma
  • Freecs: K`Sante, Hecarim, Ryze, Kai`Sa, Neeko

Game 1 was fully under BRION ’s control. One key advantage was their more balanced draft — they had strong damage dealers and solid frontline champions to absorb pressure. On top of that, they won most of their lanes, which denied Freecs any early momentum. When it came time to fight for objectives, Freecs simply lacked the damage to secure kills. BRION’s successful objective fights allowed Yone to snowball hard, and with three Infernal Dragons under their belt, they quickly became unstoppable. The game ended without much suspense — a Baron take followed by a base push secured the 1–0 lead for BRION.

Game 2 started off evenly, with BRION applying heavy pressure to Rumble — a solid strategy on paper. However, they lost control of the other lanes. A critical moment came when Vi and Gwen attempted another dive on Rumble; they got the kill, but lost two champions in return. From there, Freecs began to gain momentum — taking objectives and catching out BRION players who strayed too far from their team. The game ended after Freecs secured Baron and pushed to close out the second map.

Game 3 opened with an unexpected pick from Freecs — Hecarim, a champion that hasn’t been seen in the LCK for a long time. And it paid off. Freecs delivered a one-sided stomp, completely dominating the final game and ending it 13–1, with virtually no resistance from BRION.

Freecs Jungler Pyosik was named MVP of the series for his impactful showing on all three champions — going 1/5/4 on Trundle, 14/3/7 on Wukong, and 3/0/10 on Hecarim.

Эта победа стала третьей победой на счету Freecs при 23 поражениях. Для BRION счет становится 9-16.
