Map 1 was a chaotic yet fascinating game — mostly due to Hanwha Life Esports ' mistakes. From the start, they suffered from clear miscommunication, which led to them losing multiple skirmishes. KT Rolster gladly capitalized on those errors, stacking dragons and steadily building a lead. However, in the late game, KT made one major mistake — they stopped respecting Yunara. While HLE’s comp was designed to protect their ADC, they often failed to play around that strength early on, leaving Viper out of position multiple times.
Map 2 went much more smoothly for HLE. The first thing to highlight was their draft — Hanwha Life looked far more confident, bringing solid frontline, strong damage, and plenty of CC. The comp was balanced, unlike KT Rolster’s. A standout performer in this match was HLE’s support, Delight. After a solid showing on Alistar in Game 1, his Neeko play in Game 2 was game-changing. The decisive moment came during a dragon fight where Delight landed a huge ultimate on four KT champions. His teammates followed up perfectly, wiping out KT Rolster and securing the win.
HLE’s ADC Viper earned MVP honors for his standout performance in the series, finishing with an impressive 8/0/12 on Yunara and a dominant 12/2/8 on Kai’Sa.
With this victory, HLE strengthen their hold on second place in the standings with an 18–6 record — bringing them closer to securing a direct spot in Phase 2 of the Playoffs, just one win away from qualifying for Worlds 2025. Meanwhile, KT Rolster pick up their 12th loss of the season, now sitting at 11–12.

LCK Summer 2025 Round 3–5 will run from July 23 to August 31. This stage will determine which teams qualify directly for the LCK Playoffs and which ones will have to go through the Play-In phase. The tournament features a prize pool of ₩562,500,000 KRW (approximately $407,919 USD). But more importantly, the top three teams will earn spots at the biggest event of the year — the 2025 World Championship. The stakes are high, and every team is aiming for victory.
