Dominant Win for FEARX Over BRION 2–0 in LCK 2025 Round 3–5
Today’s matchday opened with a clash between FEARX and BRION. Both teams are in the Rise Group, coming into the series with a 7–13 record and holding 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Game 1 Picks:
- BRION: Gwen, Vi, Ahri, Lucian, Rell
- FEARX: Rumble, Wukong, Azir, Sivi, Braum
Game 2 Picks:
- BRION: Orn, Xin Zhao, Akali, Corki, Poppy
- FEARX: Renekton, Nocturne, Orianna, Kai`Sa, Alistar
On Game 1, the lead shifted back and forth or stayed slightly in favor of one team at a time. But one of the final dragon fights turned in BRION ’s favor — they scored an ace, losing three players in return, and had a clear path to push down bot lane. However, Gwen unexpectedly chose to recall instead of pressuring the base, then teleported back — a decision that proved costly in the final fight. FEARX took advantage of the misstep, turned the game around, and secured the first map.
Game 2 started out slow and relatively even, with a slight early advantage for BRION due to a favorable mid lane matchup — Akali vs Orianna. But everything shifted during a mid-game skirmish around the Rift Herald, where FEARX wiped the entire BRION squad while losing only one champion. From that point on, they snowballed their lead. FEARX’s draft offered strong mobility, allowing them to reposition and collapse quickly during fights — which often left BRION outnumbered and unable to contest objectives. The final turning point came when FEARX went for dragon and BRION decided to trade it for Baron. FEARX finished dragon quickly and rotated to Baron in time to win the fight and immediately pushed to end the game by destroying Noxus.
With this victory, FEARX move up to 2nd place in the Rise Group with an 8–13 record. Meanwhile, BRION drop down a spot, now sitting at 7–14.
