FURIA Defeat Cloud9 to Eliminate Them from EWC 2025

The final match of the day was a knockout battle between Cloud9 and FURIA. Predicting a winner was tough since both teams were fairly evenly matched, but let’s take a look at how the game played out.

It was an incredibly close match lasting 35 minutes. Both teams fought hard to stay in the tournament and refused to back down. But a few key teamfights where Cloud9 made mistakes proved fatal. FURIA capitalized on those errors and closed out the game after another successful fight.

FURIA continue their journey in the tournament, advancing to the Lower Bracket Final where they’ll face a tough challenge in FlyQuest. Unfortunately for Cloud9, their EWC 2025 run ends here without a single match win, finishing in 11th–12th place.
