The second Group A match at EWC 2025 featured a regional showdown: FlyQuest vs Cloud9. These teams had faced off recently in the LTA North Split 2 final, where FlyQuest claimed a decisive victory, denying Cloud9 a spot at MSI 2025.

FlyQuest drafts:

Cloud9 drafts:

Throughout the game, FlyQuest maintained full control at every stage — early, mid, and late. They forced fights only on their own terms, disengaged when needed, and rotated efficiently. Even though Cloud9 secured four dragons, it didn't stop FlyQuest from controlling the map completely. Smart rotations and precise skill usage led FLY to a dominant 15:3 victory.

The clear MVP of the match was FlyQuest’s mid laner, Quad. After comfortably holding his lane, he roamed to join his team and dominated the map, finishing with an impressive 8/0/5 scoreline.

With this win, FlyQuest advance to the Upper Bracket Final, where they will face G2 Esports. It’s a rematch of their last meeting at MSI 2025, where FlyQuest defeated G2 Esports with a commanding 3:0 scoreline. Meanwhile, Cloud9 drop to the Lower Bracket, where they will play an elimination match against FURIA.
