T1 crush BLG in Upper Bracket Round 2 at MSI 2025

Upper Bracket Round 2 features the tournament favorites and strongest teams. Today’s match was T1 vs Bilibili Gaming, with a spot in the Mid-Season Invitational 2025 semifinals on the line. Both teams had finished second in their respective regions, and given their form this season, the matchup was expected to be incredibly tense.

Unfortunately for Bilibili Gaming fans - and to the delight of T1 supporters - Faker’s team completely demolished BLG. The Chinese squad couldn’t get anything going, while T1 consistently found the right moments to attack, defend, and save each other. Every attempt by Bilibili Gaming to kill Faker ended with nearly the entire team - or all of them - dying in return. Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok lived up to his nickname: the Immortal Demon King.

As a result, T1 continue in the upper bracket and move on to the Upper Bracket Final, where they will face Gen.G. Meanwhile, BLG drop to Lower Bracket Round 2, where they will take on FlyQuest.

The Mid-Season Invitational 2025 Bracket Stage will take place from July 2 to July 13. Throughout these dates, teams will battle for the MSI 2025 title and a share of the $2,000,000 USD prize pool, while also aiming to secure a spot at the 2025 World Championship. Don’t miss it - cheer on your favorite team!
