5410At MSI 2025 Upper Bracket Round 2, two of the tournament favorites faced off: Gen.G vs Anyone's Legend. Both teams came into the match in great form and looked evenly matched, promising an exciting series—and it delivered.
Anyone's Legend started strong by winning the first map. Gen.G quickly responded, taking the next two maps in a row. Their confident play had many expecting a 3-1 result in favor of the Korean side.
But Anyone's Legend regrouped and managed to claim the fourth map, pushing the series to a decisive fifth. The final map was incredibly close, much like the whole match, but Gen.G ultimately proved stronger.
With this victory, Gen.G advance to the Upper Bracket Final, where they will await the winner of T1 vs Bilibili Gaming. Anyone's Legend drop to Lower Bracket Round 2, where they’ll face the loser of CTBC Flying Oyster vs MKOI.
