MKOI Defeat Karmine Corp in LEC Spring 2025 Playoffs
The first matches of the LEC Spring 2025 Playoffs have wrapped up, and they’ve already delivered plenty of excitement. Today, MKOI pulled off a stunning victory in a close and intense series against tournament favorites Karmine Corp.
As a reminder, Karmine Corp finished first in the group stage and had the privilege of choosing their opponent. Faced with a choice between G2 Esports and MKOI, they opted for the latter — and MKOI proved they were no easy target, fighting their way to a hard-earned 3–2 win.
With this result, MKOI advance to the Upper Bracket Final, where they’ll face G2 Esports tomorrow, May 26, for a spot in the Grand Final.
Meanwhile, Karmine Corp drop to the Lower Bracket, where they’ll face Team Heretics in a do-or-die elimination match. There’s no room for mistakes now!
