The first matches of the LEC Spring 2025 Playoffs have wrapped up, and they’ve already delivered plenty of excitement. Today, MKOI pulled off a stunning victory in a close and intense series against tournament favorites Karmine Corp.
As a reminder, Karmine Corp finished first in the group stage and had the privilege of choosing their opponent. Faced with a choice between G2 Esports and MKOI, they opted for the latter — and MKOI proved they were no easy target, fighting their way to a hard-earned 3–2 win.
With this result, MKOI advance to the Upper Bracket Final, where they’ll face G2 Esports tomorrow, May 26, for a spot in the Grand Final.
