LEC Spring 2025: Week 4 Day 3 – The Most Unpredictable Day of the Regular Season

Day 3 of the LEC Spring 2025 Regular Season delivered plenty of positive emotions — mainly thanks to a series of unexpected results. The matchups of the day were Team Vitality vs MKOI and Rogue vs SK Gaming.
The day kicked off with Rogue vs SK Gaming — a match that could be seen as Rogue’s last chance to stay in the playoff race. Analysts were skeptical and favored SK, who had been showing solid form. But Rogue gave it their all and managed to pull off an important win. This hard-fought victory gave them a small but crucial chance to reach the playoffs — they now sit in 9th place, pushing GIANTX to the bottom of the standings.
The second match — Team Vitality vs MKOI — was another surprise. Vitality had a strong start after making roster changes ahead of the split but then hit a streak of losses. MKOI, on the other hand, lost to the tournament favorites early on but went on to confidently defeat the rest of their opponents. However, Vitality completely flipped the script today. They outplayed MKOI in every aspect and secured a dominant 2-0 win. It was a much-needed comeback performance that fans had been waiting for.

At LEC Spring 2025, teams are fighting not only for the €80,000 prize pool but also for qualification to MSI 2025 and the Esports World Cup 2025 — two key milestones on the road to Worlds 2025. These global tournaments offer a chance to compete against top-tier teams and gain crucial international experience.
