LEC Spring 2025: Week 2 Day 1

The first day of the second week treated us to three matches. The outcome of two of them was fairly predictable, but the third turned out to be a real surprise for League of Legends fans.

The day kicked off with Team Heretics vs G2 Esports. As expected, G2 claimed a confident victory without much trouble. They controlled the game from start to finish and wrapped up the series with a solid 2:0 score.

The second match featured clear favorites against underdogs — Karmine Corp vs Team BDS. The LEC Winter 2025 champions showed why they’re at the top, closing out the match 2:0 and giving their opponents no chance.

The third and final match of the day — Rogue vs Team Vitality — came as a surprise. Despite a rough start, Rogue showed great determination and defeated Vitality with a clean 2:0, which is especially important for them as they sit at the bottom of the standings.

At LEC Spring 2025, teams are battling not only for their share of the €80,000 prize pool, but for something far more valuable — a chance to qualify for MSI 2025 and the Esports World Cup 2025. These tournaments are crucial stepping stones in the competitive season, with victory securing a direct ticket to Worlds 2025.
