 EMEA Masters Winter 2025: Day 2 Overview

The second day of EMEA Masters Winter 2025 has ended, and it brought us the first teams that have advanced to the playoffs, teams that still have a chance to fight for a spot, and teams that, unfortunately, have been eliminated from the tournament. Let's start the review of the second day for the lower bracket.

There were 4 matches played in the lower bracket:

  • Group A: Zero Tenacity vs Barça eSports (0:2)
  • Group B: Crvena zvezda vs Team Phantasma (1:2)
  • Group C: ZennIT vs Flame Hard (2:1)
  • Group D: E WIE EINFACH vs NightBirds (2:0)

As a result of the matches, Barça eSports, Team Phantasma, ZennIT, and E WIE EINFACH have advanced to the Lower Bracket Final, where they still have a chance to fight for a spot in the playoffs. Unfortunately, for Zero Tenacity, Crvena zvezda, Flame Hard, and NightBirds, their journey in EMEA Masters Winter 2025 has come to an end, and they are eliminated from the tournament.

In the upper bracket, 4 matches were also played:

  • Group A: SuperMassive vs Geekay Esports (2:0)
  • Group B: BIG vs Ici Japon Corp. (0:2)
  • Group C: Los Heretics vs Macko Esports (2:0)
  • Group D: Karmine Corp Blue vs Los Ratones (2:0)

After these matches, we now know the first teams to have advanced to the playoffs of EMEA Masters Winter 2025. They are SuperMassive, Ici Japon Corp., Los Heretics, and Karmine Corp Blue. For Geekay Esports, BIG, Macko Esports, and Los Ratones, it's not over yet; these teams still have a second chance in the lower bracket.

EMEA Masters Winter 2025 is an important event as the increase in high-level tournaments contributes to the development of the semi-professional scene. It's especially exciting to see the participation of new teams that haven't competed in previous EMEA Masters tournaments. It's clear that these teams are focused on victory and are ready to fight until the very end for the EMEA Masters Winter 2025 title and the €40,000 prize pool.
