The match that many League of Legends fans had been waiting for – T1 vs Hanwha Life. It turned out to be incredibly intense and unpredictable until the very end. However, with a 3:2 score, Hanwha Life managed to secure victory over Faker's team, eliminating T1 in the first round of the LCK CUP 2025 playoffs.

The showdown between T1 and Hanwha Life was highly anticipated not only due to the clash of two strong regional teams but also because of the controversial transfer of former T1 player Zeus to Hanwha Life. The match attracted a record-breaking 1,907,485 viewers, making it the most-watched match across all esports disciplines so far.

As a result, Hanwha Life advances to the second round of the tournament bracket, where they will face the formidable Gen.G on February 16. Unlike T1, however, they will have a safety net, as they can still fight their way to the LCK CUP 2025 finals through the lower bracket if needed.
