An incredible performance from Gen.G — confident play and complete map control in every game. Their drafts and strategies worked flawlessly, unlike those of HLE. On top of that, Gen.G’s players looked individually stronger today, which also played a key role in the outcome.

The fourth game could have gone to HLE and given us a chance to see a final fifth map, but Gen.G had a clear understanding of their late-game power spike and played accordingly, dragging out the game. Thanks to this, they secured the win on Game 4 and closed out the series.

The Finals MVP title went to Gen.G’s ADC, Ruler — and it’s no surprise. Throughout the entire tournament, he delivered absolutely outstanding performances, and this MVP award is more than well-deserved. Fans in the arena were chanting his name, making the moment even more emotional and unforgettable.

This victory brings yet another trophy to Gen.G, making their 2025 season even more impressive. They’ve claimed first place at nearly every tournament this year — LCK Road to MSI, MSI 2025, EWC 2025, and now LCK Summer 2025. With such a dominant run, Gen.G head into Worlds 2025, scheduled for October 14 to November 9, as the clear tournament favorites.
